Alexander has more than 20 years of industry experience. Before setting up Palmira, he was CEO Germany for GPT Halverton and built the business from scratch to €1bn under management. Prior to that he was a member of the Executive Committee of Vivico Real Estate. Before that he served as Head of Investment with CB Richard Ellis and was a member of their International Investment Group. During his career Alexander has been responsible for transactions with of more than €2bn .
Alexander holds a Management degree from the University of Nuremburg and a Masters degree in Real Estate from Cass University, London. He is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He is fluent in German (native) and English.
Mathias has over 19 years of industry experience. He joined Palmira as a Partner in 2009. Prior to this he was a managing director of DB Schenker, overlooking all real estate activities of the group worldwide. He has held various senior management positions with Stinnes AG, DB Deutsche Bahn AG, Bax Global and others and has gained extensive expertise in Europe and CEE countries. During his career Mathias has been responsible for transactions of more than €2bn.
Mathias holds a law degree from the University of Tübingen and is a lawyer. He is fluent in German (native), English and has a good command of Polish.
Thorsten joined Palmira in 2011 and has over 10 years of experience in the industry. Before joining the Palmira Group, Thorsten was the head of asset management of Alpha Industrial where he was responsible for managing all asset values. Prior to this, he worked as a manager with Jones Lang LaSalle, DeTeImmobilien and GPT Halverton. Thorsten has a degree in industrial engineering at the university of applied sciences in Muenster.
Member of the Management Board
Marion Schwarz is a member of the management board. She is responsible for the areas of accounting, controlling and organisation.
Marion has around 20 years' experience in the real estate sector. Before joining Palmira, from 2011 she was Head of Portfolio Controlling at Fortress Germany Asset Management. Her previous responsibilities included the active organisation of a special real estate fund company.
Marion Schwarz holds a business studies diploma from the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. She is bilingual in German and English.
Aleksandra has 11 years’ experience in real estate. She started her professional career in Ablon Group Limited the real estate developer. Before joining the Palmira Group she was asset manager in CPI Property Group. Within over 5 and a half years’ experience of asset management, she was responsible mainly for the office portfolio as well as retail and logistics assets. Aleksandra was supervising property management teams, numerous capex, fit-out and tender projects, as well as budgeting and reporting processes. She negotiated nearly 100 leasing agreements and was involved in acquisition processes.
Aleksandra holds two master degrees from the Swedish SLU University and Warsaw University of Life Sciences. She is a Member of the Royal Institu-tion of Chartered Surveyors.
Country Head Benelux
Michel has over 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Before joining Palmira in 2019, he was leading the Asset Services teams Colliers International in the Netherlands. Prior to that, he was a member of the Dutch board of Cushman & Wakefield, leading the Asset Services team in the Benelux.
Michel holds a Bachelor degree in Facility Management and a Business Administration. He is a member of the strategy team of the Societeit
Rui Mercadal Vieira
Executive Partner - Iberia
Palmira’s Spanish presence is set up in a joint venture with Kefren Capital Real Estate (KCRE). In this capacity KCRE is responsible for the overall operations in Spain.
Rui is executive partner of KCRE. Before joining KCRE Rui set up his own business advising international investors in the Iberian market. Prior to that, while at Apollo Global Management (AGM), Rui initiated and rolled out, the pan-European asset management platform ‘Lapithus’ to manage AGM’s European distressed fund investments, which he joined as MD and member of the European board. Before moving to Lapithus Rui was an investment professional and principal at AGM Iberia. Other stations in his career were Hudson Advisors (portfolio manager), Vivico Real Estate (risk manager) and E&Y Real Estate. Rui is Immobilienökonom (ebs), holds an engineering degree (focused in civil engineering and economics) of TU Darmstadt and started his real estate activities in the 90s. He is fluent in Spanish (native), German and Portuguese.
Branch Manager - East
Ralf Eisenrigler has over 20 years' experience in the property management sector.
Before joining the Palmira Group, he was head of real estate management at the ANTAN Group, a Frankfurt-based family office. Previously, he was a Prokurist (authorised signatory) of Gewerbepark Wilthener Straße GmbH, the company that developed the Wilthener Strasse Commercial Park in Bautzen.
Ralf Eisenrigler has a degree in Business Administration from the Berufsakademie Dresden and in Real Estate Economics (ebs) from the European Business School.
Head of Asset Management
Patrick Abel is responsible for asset management. He has over 15 years' experience across all real estate asset classes.
He joined Palmira from Alpha Industrial, where he was latterly in charge of the portfolio and asset management of properties in Germany and continental Europe, with a total volume in excess of 520 million Euro. Prior to that, he held management positions at bts Asset Management and Dahler & Company.
Patrick Abel has degrees in Business Administration and Real Estate Asset Management (IRE│BS). He speaks fluent English in addition to his native German.
Dr. Wiebke Dursthoff
Director, Head of Transaction Processing
Wiebke Dursthoff is an internationally experienced real estate expert. She gained extensive experience during numerous periods abroad, working in well-known architectural practices in the USA, Malaysia and Israel.
Before joining Palmira, Dursthoff worked for 10 years in the development of logistics property. Her responsibilities included projects developed by ECE's Industry & Logistics division. Earlier, she worked for Süderelbe AG and Europa-Center.
Wiebke Dursthoff has a degree in architecture from the Fachhochschule Oldenburg. Her doctorate was awarded by the Leibniz University, Hanover. She speaks fluent German and English.
Country Head - Austria and CEE
Thomas Jiresch is Country Head of Palmira Capital, Austria & CEE.
He has been active in the real estate industry for more than 17 years. The focus was on expanding locations and new developments for industrial companies, as well as expansion for international retailers in CEE/SEE.
Before joining Palmira Capital Partners in 2018, he headed the expansion for Tchibo/Eduscho Austria. Prior to that, as Head of Expansion CEE/SEE of the Kika/Leiner Group, he was responsible for its expansion in Europe.
Thomas Jiresch has a degree in architecture from the Vienna University of Technology and a Masters in Engineering Management from Oakland University in Auburn Hills, Rochester/Michigan, USA. He speaks German and English.
Head of Fund Management
Benedict joined Palmira in 2014. In his current position he analysed and oversees in his fund management role assets in excess of € 1bn. Before starting at Palmira, Benedict gained valuable experience at LaSalle Investment Management, Credit Suisse and Berenberg Bank.
Benedict holds a Master in Real Estate with distinction from Cass Business School, London and a Bachelor in General Management from EBS Universität, Oestrich-Winkel. He speaks German (native) and English.
Ex Head of DHL Real Estate
Klaus is a lawyer and has been Head of Real Estate Europe Middle East Africa with Deutsche Post / DHL for almost 20 years. He is regarded as one of the most respected senior professionals in the industry. He is fluent in German (native) and English.
Prof. Dr. Christian Kille
University for Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt
Prof. Dr. Christian Kille is Professor for Retail Logistics and Operations Management at the University for Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. His core competences are quantifying and analyzing logistics markets with focus on retail logistics, logistics properties and logistics services.
Prof. Dr. Michael Schröder
Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Mannheim
Prof. Dr. Michael Schröder, Professor of Forwarding, Transport and Logistics, Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg, Mannheim, has been working at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg for many years. Initially as an external lecturer, he has been Professor on the Business Administration course of studies since 2009.
