Palmira buys two properties in North Rhine-Westphalia for Unternehmens-immobilien Club 2

In separate transactions, Palmira Capital Partners (Palmira) has acquired two properties in North Rhine-Westphalia, one of them in Bonn and other in Dortmund, adding attractive assets to the portfolio of Unternehmensimmobilien Club 2 (UIC 2).

The property acquired in Bonn is a production facility at Pennefeldsweg 11-15, which is also the headquarters of GKN Sinter Metals Components GmbH. The 11,539 square metre let-table area of the property, which was built in 1984 and progressively extended until 2018, is let on a long-term lease to the company, which specialises in 3D metal printing processes.

The multi-tenanted property in Dortmund, built in 1994 and extended in 2002, provides a lettable area of around 16,000 square metres. Known as "Servicepark Dortmund West" in Revierstrasse, it comprises mainly office space, together with storage and ‘service’ accommodation. It is almost fully let to a diversified tenant mix from a wide range of sectors.

Palmira was advised on the legal and taxation issues of the transaction by Dentons, Dusseldorf, and on the environmental aspects by Nova Ambiente. Technical and ESG con-sultancy was provided by CBRE, Frankfurt.

Grossmann & Berger, Hamburg brokered the Bonn transaction, while Dipper Real Estate of Dusseldorf and Qore Advisors Ltd facilitated the deal in Dortmund.
